What you can expect as a Systems Administrator III:
- Assist leadership in delegating, leading and mentoring the Infrastructure staff members whom are responsible for support of system administration and following IT Infrastructure areas at Frontline:
- Active Directory administration
- Windows Server administration
- Cloud administration (AWS, O365)
- Group Policy and AD security group administration
- AWS/Azure cloud administration
- NetApp/VMware
- Manage access administration for infrastructure systems including Active Directory, DNS, VPN, DHCP, Windows, and LINUX.
- Manage on premise VMware/Storage and AWS Cloud environments.
- Manage, maintain a hybrid of network environments that could include various vendors such as Dell/Fortigate/Juniper/Cisco Meraki and SEIM technologies.
- Assist and verify all Visio and Infrastructure documentation both logical and physical are up to date and accurate as the environment changes.
- Oversee and verify Avaya Phone system environment documentation and OS security patches are up to date.
- Schedule and assist teams to Run Disaster Recovery exercises to verify the integrity of fail-over systems to reduce single points of failures for system environments that impact critical areas of the business.
- Work with overlapping technical teams (DEV, DevOps, QA) to identify potential risks in software, applications and hardware.
- Make recommendations on the controls to mitigate potential risks and improve performance and system efficiencies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in backup strategies along with disaster recovery best practices. Make recommendations according to business requirements.
- Oversee server admins in Windows OS patch management on a scheduled basis.
- Identify gaps and provide input and for all supported infrastructure services that require business continuity and incident response plans.
- Manage Infrastructure Monitoring solutions and verify appropriate alert notification workflows are in place according to established SLA’s. Make necessary recommendation to all monitoring and alerting services.
- Accurately prepares relevant IT-related status reports in a timely manner.
- Work as needed during set maintenance windows and assist network team with system alerts and escalate to appropriate teams.
- This position requires periodic remote work (10% - 20%) and some evenings, weekends and/or Holidays.
- Other daily operations tasks to be assigned.
What we are looking for as a Systems Administrator III:
College Degree preferred and 6-10 years related experience.
