Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician!
Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Clearwater and St. Petersburg, FL!
· Position: Maintenance Technician
· Location: Clear Harbor / The Shores, our 131-unit multi-family residential communities in Clearwater and St. Pete
· Please Note: MUST be able to work at both properties, with a 20 minute drive between them, and on-call every other week
· Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with on-call weekend rotation
✅ Key Qualifications
· EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license. If you do not have your EPA but possess the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor and pay for your EPA I and II within your first 75 days on the job
· Valid Driver's License required
· Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
🎯 Responsibilities
· Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
· Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
· Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
· Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
· Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
· Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
· Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
· Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
· Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
· Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
📋 Requirements
· High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
· Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
· Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
· Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
· Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
· Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
· Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
