About the Role:
The Licensed Mental Health Professional will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals, families, and groups, aiming to improve their emotional and psychological well-being. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid and current license as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the United States.
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical mental health services in a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and ethical standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse populations including children, adults, and underserved communities.
- Training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to better serve diverse client groups.
- Experience in crisis intervention and case management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and best practices.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
