This role is an opportunity to support business-critical sanctions screening and payment-processing applications within a banking and financial services environment. You will take ownership of Firco Continuity and related Fircosoft solutions across implementation, configuration, production support, and troubleshooting. The position combines application engineering, L3 support, integrations, automation, and operational resilience. You will work across real-time payments, SWIFT, Wire, and ACH environments where reliability and accuracy are essential. The role also involves close collaboration with technology, infrastructure, compliance, business, and external vendor teams. You’ll contribute to upgrades, deployments, performance improvements, and continuous modernization of a critical technology ecosystem.

• Implement, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing technical support for Firco Continuity and Fircosoft applications in production and non-production environments.
• Provide L3 application support, including monitoring, incident management, root-cause analysis, problem resolution, and performance optimization.
• Support sanctions screening capabilities across real-time payments, SWIFT, Wire, and ACH transaction flows.
• Configure and maintain screening rules, watchlists, filtering parameters, and related Firco Utilities, including FMM, FML, FUM, and FFFClassic.
• Support application integrations involving MQ/MQFTE, Kafka, file transfers, and scheduling platforms such as TWS.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts using Oracle or MS SQL, as well as Unix/Linux shell scripts to support automation, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in application upgrades, patches, deployments, CI/CD activities, and production releases, ensuring stability and adherence to operational standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology and infrastructure teams, compliance functions, and external Fircosoft/LexisNexis specialists to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, knowledge sharing, and the development of reliable application and DevOps practices.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, application implementation, application engineering, or production support, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Firco Continuity, including application configuration, support, troubleshooting, and production operations.
• Experience with Fircosoft Trust and Firco Utilities, with knowledge of tools such as FMM, FML, FUM, and FFFClassic.
• Strong understanding of sanctions screening and payment-processing workflows, particularly across SWIFT, Wire, ACH, and real-time payment environments.
• Experience with SQL and databases, particularly Oracle or MS SQL, combined with Unix/Linux shell scripting capabilities.
• Practical knowledge of messaging and integration technologies, including MQ/MQFTE, Kafka, file-transfer mechanisms, and enterprise scheduling tools such as TWS.
• Experience supporting business-critical production applications, with a strong understanding of incident management, root-cause analysis, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, application deployments, upgrades, patches, and production release processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to investigate complex application issues and translate findings into practical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, infrastructure, compliance, and vendor teams.
• Firco Continuity V6 upgrade experience is a plus.
