Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nursing Coordinator to lead and coordinate nursing services with Spravato/Esketamine treatment within our mental healthcare facility. This vital role involves overseeing patient care. The Nursing Coordinator will serve as a key liaison among multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families, fostering an environment of excellence in patient care. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in various nursing specialties, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing patient outcomes across diverse care settings.
Duties
- Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, complete REMS documentation
- Manage medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system - Tebra; ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate medical records maintenance.
- Facilitate patient care activities such as medication administration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams on progress of patients complex cases .
Qualifications
- Nursing degree
- LPN preferred but not required to be licensed.
- Experience in behavioral health preferred
- Strong familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth; proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for documentation accuracy.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration and pain management.
- Experience working with diverse populations i
- Certifications in basic life support (BLS), sterile processing techniques and other relevant clinical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct physical examinations and perform diagnostic evaluations confidently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Pay: $24.28 - $36.50 per hour
