JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Educator to deliver exceptional wine education experiences to our guests. The Wine Educator is a key ambassador of The Estate Yountville, creating memorable wine experiences that build relationships, drive direct-to-consumer sales, and grow wine club membership. The ideal candidate is polished, engaging, sales-minded, and passionate about wine and luxury hospitality.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Membership Growth

Convert qualified guests into wine club members and achieve individual sales goals.Build relationships that generate repeat purchases, referrals, and long-term loyalty.Conduct personalized follow-up, outbound outreach, release campaigns, and retention efforts.Contribute directly to estate revenue and sustained membership growth.

Guest Experience & Wine Education

Host private tastings with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.Deliver personalized service and share The Estate Yountville story through engaging wine education.Coordinate with culinary and events teams on elevated food-and-wine experiences.Maintain tasting spaces, materials, inventory, and presentation to luxury standards.

Operations

Execute opening, closing, reservations, guest communications, and daily tasting-room procedures.Support inventory control, member events, and cross-department coordination.Maintain exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Wine, luxury hospitality, fine-dining, or related experience preferred.Strong communication, presentation, sales, and relationship-building skills.Polished professional presence and confidence presenting membership opportunities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.POS and CRM experience preferred; weekend, holiday, and occasional evening availability required.
