Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A based in the United States.

In this role, you will be a key driver of financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, partnering closely with finance leadership to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will own critical components of the corporate financial model and play a central role in shaping how business performance is measured, analyzed, and communicated. This position sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, requiring both strong analytical rigor and the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy, enhance reporting, and support executive and board-level decision-making. The environment is fast-paced and mission-driven, offering high visibility and ownership over core financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in building scalable models, solving complex problems, and influencing business outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Own and maintain the corporate financial model and integrated P&L, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with business drivers.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting processes across COGS and OpEx, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial performance to identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and underlying business drivers.
  • Partner with Accounting and business leaders to ensure accurate reporting, variance analysis, and decision support.
  • Develop financial reporting packages for executive leadership, Board presentations, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and ad hoc financial deep dives.
  • Improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Drive issue resolution across data, reporting, and planning workflows, ensuring financial integrity and consistency.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related financial analysis roles.
  • Strong experience in corporate financial planning, forecasting, and P&L ownership.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex models.
  • Proven ability to translate large and complex datasets into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP and planning systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance detailed financial analysis with high-level strategic communication.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting insights to senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working with imperfect data and resolving inconsistencies independently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in renewable energy, SaaS, or field services industries.
  • Exposure to executive or Board-level financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with performance-based revenue models, guarantees, or liability structures.
  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary, performance bonuses, and long-term equity incentives.
  • Salary range: $101,000 – $141,000 annually, with opportunities for merit-based increases.
  • Fully covered employee health insurance premiums and partial coverage for dependents.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off and paid company holidays.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all eligible employees.
  • Four-week paid sabbatical after four years of service.
  • Annual learning and development stipend for courses, certifications, or training.
  • Flexible, mission-driven work culture with strong emphasis on collaboration and trust.
  • Equity participation through stock options in a high-growth environment.
  • Inclusive workplace culture with employee resource groups and community initiatives.
