This role sits at the intersection of clinical research, patient engagement, and strategic program leadership, focusing on improving access to clinical trials through effective recruitment strategies. You will design and oversee patient recruitment initiatives that support the successful enrollment of participants across clinical studies, ensuring alignment with protocol requirements and timelines. Working within a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will help shape how patients are identified, engaged, and retained in trials. The role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution in patient-facing outreach strategies. You will also contribute to improving the overall patient experience by developing more accessible, inclusive, and effective engagement approaches. - Develop and execute comprehensive patient recruitment strategies tailored to clinical trial objectives and study protocols
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify, engage, and retain target patient populations across assigned studies
- Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and community organizations to strengthen recruitment pipelines
- Analyze recruitment performance metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and recommend data-driven improvements
- Design and oversee patient-facing outreach campaigns and marketing materials to support enrollment and engagement goals
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on best practices, tools, and methodologies for effective patient recruitment
- Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory considerations, and emerging digital engagement strategies in clinical research
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, marketing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Proven experience in patient recruitment, clinical trial engagement, digital outreach, or healthcare marketing
- Strong understanding of clinical research environments, including site, CRO, or sponsor-level operations
- Experience designing and executing patient recruitment campaigns and digital engagement strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data and optimize performance outcomes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, including patients and healthcare professionals
- Leadership experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams in complex project environments
- Creative problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on improving patient access and experience
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and outreach strategies is an asset
