Program Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager based in Canada.

This role is centered on leading and optimizing complex healthcare-related programs that support patient services, reimbursement initiatives, and clinical support operations. You will oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and strong client satisfaction across multiple active programs. The position blends hands-on program execution with strategic oversight, including project design, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of call centre and patient support initiatives. This is a highly impactful leadership role where analytical thinking, communication, and operational discipline are essential. You will also contribute to staffing strategy, training oversight, and quality assurance to strengthen overall program performance.

Accountabilities:
  • Oversee and support associates in delivering high-quality customer service, accurate documentation, and effective follow-up across call centre operations.
  • Monitor team performance, identify training needs, and contribute to continuous development initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning, including scheduling input and staffing recommendations to ensure operational coverage.
  • Lead and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, implementing operational enhancements where needed.
  • Manage end-to-end program delivery including reimbursement, compliance, education, and clinical support initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate program structures, including protocols, resource allocation, and reporting systems.
  • Maintain ongoing client communication, participate in client meetings, and ensure clear project reporting and updates.
  • Support recruitment strategies and participate in hiring processes to strengthen team capability.
  • Ensure proper reporting and escalation of adverse events in accordance with program and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Science, Healthcare, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare-related industries.
  • At least 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong client management experience considered a strong asset.
  • Healthcare, clinical, or science background is an advantage; RN/RPN designation may be required for certain programs.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general business systems.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a bilingual or English-speaking client environment in Canada.
