Warehouse Worker/Relief Driver in St. Louis, Missouri at GA Foods

GA Foods is seeking to hire a Warehouse/Relief Driver for our Saint Louis location. The Warehouse Worker/Relief Driver will be responsible for performing warehouse and inventory control duties in a safe, efficient and accurate manner. This position will have to produce computer records, reports, bills as required. In addition, this role includes some route delivery driving as a Relief Route Driver on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities 

• Pull orders from stock; Conduct physical product inventories
• Receive and inbound product/unload inbound product
• Ship outbound product/load outbound product
• Complete and maintain paperwork and records as required
• Input data into computer system and pull off bills, reports, other
• Drive straight trucks, vans and other company vehicles to deliver food products to customers
• Load vehicles with food product; Maintain vehicle records as required
• Maintain food safety and quality of deliveries
• Assist with sanitation and housekeeping of the facility
• Assist with production/packaging as needed
• Other duties assigned by management

Experience 

• Pallet Jack experience
• Ability to maintain records
• Computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc).
• Driver Class E or better, Manual and Auto Transmission
• Ability to pass all required screening, including DOT physical, MVR, and other background requirements
• Prior experience utilizing Fleet/Routing (GPS) and e-signature (tablet) technologies preferred.

Work Environment 

• Work is performed outdoors and inside a vehicle
• Regular exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
• This position follows a standard weekly schedule, however, weekend work may be required based on business needs.
