Position SummaryThe Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading HR operations, policies, and people programs across Brightfield Systems. This role partners closely with the VP of People and executive leadership to ensure HR strategies align with business goals while supporting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & Leadership- Lead and oversee core HR functions including employee relations, policies, compliance, and performance management
- Partner with executive leadership to support workforce planning and organizational growth
- Translate people strategy into scalable HR programs and processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, investigations, and performance matters
- Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and procedures
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Partner with Recruiting and Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies and onboarding processes
- Drive performance management cycles and manager enablement
- Oversee HR systems, data accuracy, and reporting
- Analyze workforce metrics and trends to inform leadership decisions
- Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and Finance partners as needed
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including people management responsibility
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and manage sensitive situations
- HR leadership experience in a technology or professional services environment
- Experience supporting distributed or hybrid workforces
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification preferred
- Salary Range: $135,000 $175,000
- Performance-based bonus eligibility
