ADVANCED PRACTICE PRACTITIONER at Auburn Community Hospital – Auburn , New York

The Nurse Practitioner will practice medicine in the Cancer Center Hematology/Oncology practice with the supervision of a licensed physician. Consistent with NYS law they will evaluate, diagnose, formulate and implement treatment plans, educate and counsel patients and families, prescribe, assist with surgical procedures and perform other responsibilities within the scope of practice of and as delegated by the supervising physician. The Nurse Practitioner will be a committed member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team and will maintain professional competencies while providing high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the mission, vision and values of Auburn Community Hospital.

A NYS license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Previous practitioner clinical experience and prior experience in Oncology preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59.93 - $86.64 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
