Description

Headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, Fastening Solutions (FSI) regionally distributes and markets industrial quality tools, fasteners and packaging to industrial manufacturers, lumber yards and contractors. Specifically, FSI focuses on selling industry-specific, innovative packaging solutions and wood fasteners consisting of collated nails, staples, screws and tools. Additionally, FSI repairs and maintains pneumatic hand tools.

Job Functions

Responsible for order selection and picking in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a warehouse associate, you will also have miscellaneous other duties required for processing products, receiving items and shipping items within the warehouse.

Required Skills and Experience

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years' experience working in a similar role
• Prior employment history that demonstrates job stability
• Forklift/Cherry Picker operation experience
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to regularly sit, talk, hear and use hands and all fingers to touch, handle and feel
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms
• Vision requirements include close vision and ability to focus
• Strong communications skills
• Pass a pre-employment criminal history and drug test screening
