Position Description:

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist (PSRS)

Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs as they work toward independence and recovery? We’re looking for a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist (PSRS) to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide direct support, lead skill-building groups, and assist with crisis intervention—all while helping individuals develop life, vocational, and social skills that empower them to thrive.

This is a hands-on opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a dedicated, collaborative care team.

What You’ll Do

Support individuals in programming, daily living, and social activities Facilitate educational and skill-building groups that promote independence Model and teach appropriate social skills and coping strategies Use de-escalation techniques to help prevent or respond to crises Monitor safety and security of the treatment environment Document services accurately and in compliance with standards What We’re Looking For

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (required) Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field (preferred; can substitute for experience) Experience

2+ years working in a mental health program with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (required, unless substituted with degree) Licenses/Certifications

Valid driver’s license (preferred; some driving may be required) Why Join Us?
