What you need to know about this position:
- Columbus Regional Health Urology diagnoses and treats issues related to the urinary tract.
- The surgical technologist serves as a member of the Surgical Services team, working under the direction of the registered nurse and in cooperation with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other ancillary personnel in delivering patient care, assuming appropriate responsibilities pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively.
- This full-time position will require you to work 40 hours a week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
- The base hourly rate for this position is $23.94. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree in Applied Science Surgical Technology or completion of an equivalent on-the-job program resulting in certification eligibility required.
- Two years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Certified Surgical Technologist Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assistant (NBSTSA) required within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
