Job Description
What you need to know about this position:
- The Clinical Effectiveness Advisor, under the direction of the VP – Hospital Outpatient and Nursing Services, serves as a lead clinical resource and provides direct clinical expertise to ensure that the strategic vision of the organization is supported through evidence-based evaluation of clinical initiatives.
- This leader identifies, analyzes and interprets clinical evidence to support decision-making.
- The Clinical Effectiveness Advisor, in partnership with Materials Management, will integrate clinical evidence with financial and operational data to develop recommendations with the goal of reducing unwarranted clinical variation, improving quality outcomes, contract maximization and compliance, and achieving the highest clinical value.
- The Clinical Effectiveness Advisor collaborates with interdisciplinary clinical, educational and administrative leadership, as well as direct-care nurses, technicians and providers, to ensure successful implementation of approved initiatives.
- The base hourly rate for this position is $46.91. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- This full-time position will require you to work 40 hrs/wk, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Friday.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
- Master of Science in Nursing Required.
- 5-7 years of experience in a clinical area of healthcare; preferably in Surgical and/or Procedural based nursing.
- Previous experience with healthcare quality improvement, evidence-based care delivery, supply chain/value analysis, clinical variation.
- Requires experience in project management, presentation development, analytics and customer service. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Supply Chain business systems and tools preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Comact (NLC) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
