Certified Nurse Assistant in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Certified Nurse Assistant for the Nursing Support Department.

Description of department: Nursing Support is our Hospital based Float Pool. The float pool supplements staffing throughout the hospital based on need. CNAs who work in the Citizens Memorial Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of areas.

• Medical Surgical- 28 bed unit
• Intensive Care-8 bed unit
• Telemetry- 8 bed unit
• Geriatric Psych- 12 bed unit
• Birth Place- 8 bed unit
• Emergency Dept-12 bed unit
• ASC- pre/post op recovery

A typical day will include: Receive your shift assignment, bedside shift report, obtaining vital signs thru-out the shift, coordinating and providing cares, assisting with meals and daily hygiene, turning repositioning and ambulating, answering call lights in a timely manner, maintaining patient/family confidentiality and privacy, demonstrating competence and knowledge that reflect current nursing practice

The position is Per Requested Need (PRN)

Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or higher (Preferred)

Experience: None needed… as we provide on the job training!

Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills,

Licensure/Certification:CPR Certification (we provide this if needed). It is not a requirement for you to be a Certified Nurse Assistant-- however, if you are, this is a plus!
