Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant for the CMH Institute of Pain Management.

This Specialty clinic provides pain management options and interventional care.

A typical day will include: The CMA/RMA is an integral piece of the healthcare team working with Physicians, Physician Assistants other RN’s, LPN’s, Registered and Certified Medical Assistants. The RN is responsible for intake of patient reason for visit, medication reconciliation, and verification of patient medical/family/social/surgical history, assessment of patient, assisting providers with in-office procedures, providing education for patient and/or caregiver, providing phone triage, promoting preventative measures to optimize the patient and assisting with coordination of care. The CMA/RMA obtains pre-certification from insurance companies requiring a pre-cert if required.
