Job Summary

To provide superior quality and outstanding customer service by providing invasive cardiovascular, peripheral studies, and permanent pacemaker/ICD insertion in a timely, safe and efficient manner. The Cardio Invasive Technologist needs to be proficient in all aspects of angiography, sterile preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and hospital administration. They will provide outstanding patient care with respect to patient expectations, cultural, spiritual, and age-specific individual needs. They will help to facilitate efforts to create patient-centered care in a healing environment. Work requires occasional physical exertion and/or muscular strain.

Job Requirements

• Recent Cardiac Cath Lab work experience preferred
• A minimum of two years of experience in current field of expertise is required (Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Radiology, Assisting with sterile procedures)
• RCIS, ARRT, Paramedic certification, CST, or RCIS eligible within 2nd year of employment.
• BLS certification
