About This Position

Position Description:

Looking for a role where your attention to detail and passion for compliance truly make an impact?

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Director and help ensure our programs, policies, and patient care practices meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. In this role, you’ll partner with leadership and staff across departments to monitor performance, support accreditation readiness, and drive continuous improvement throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate quality assurance, performance improvement, compliance, and risk management activities across all departments.
  • Conduct facility assessments, review incidents, and develop corrective action plans to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, HIPAA regulations, and federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Provide guidance, technical assistance, and training for staff, committees, and leadership on accreditation standards, contract compliance, HIPAA, risk management, and performance improvement practices.
  • Monitor improvement plans, analyze trends, and report key findings to leadership through dashboards, scorecards, and formal reports.
  • Support oversight of the Policy & Procedures system, ensuring policies are current, accessible, and implemented effectively.
  • Chair Performance Improvement, Safety, and Compliance Committees, preparing and presenting reports for the governing body.
  • Coordinate required analyses and inspections, including Hazard Vulnerability Analyses (HVAs), Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs), Environmental Rounds, and Facility Inspections.
  • What We’re Looking For

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, health care, management, or related discipline (required)
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of management experience in risk management, compliance, or performance improvement administration (required)
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment (preferred)
  • Licenses/Certifications

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar certification (preferred)
