The Outlook at Windhaven leadership is looking for talented individuals to be part of the team as a Floor Technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Models a service and solutions oriented attitude towards others
Takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better
Is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
Maintain good attendance record
Dusting, mopping and buffing floors
Stripping floors and applying floor finish
Clean carpet
Minor repairs (changing light bulbs, etc.) if applicable
Ability to lift to 50 pounds when furniture is moved or other physical demand requirements
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize tasks and know when to ask supervisor for assistance
Willingness to climb ladders and perform other duties that require heights
Ability to adapt to changes in procedure, as improvements are made

Assist Laundry Techs and Environmental Service Techs
Make rooms ready for admissions
Help with event set ups and clean ups as assigned
Assisting other departments as needed
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 6 months experience
Knowledge of households tools, floor care and other related equipment
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player
Good communication skills
Ability to perform Essential Duties
Genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, persons with disability and hospice patients
Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements
Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights (LTC) and Employee Responsibilities
Ability to comply with organizational and departmental safety policies and procedures
