About This Position
Job Overview:
The RSM is a key leadership position within our company that typically oversees a specific geographic area or region. The Position is to manage and drive the sales efforts in specific accounts and or region. The “Candidate” will create and execute strategies, meeting revenue goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement regional sales strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure they achieve their targets.
Revenue Growth: Drive the growth of sales within the assigned region through effective business development strategies and relationship management.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Reporting and Forecasting: Regularly report sales performance, forecast sales, and track the progress toward goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Vice President of Sales and other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and maximize sales efforts.
Skills Required:
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, set clear expectations, and motivate others.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to work with teams, clients, and senior management.
Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and metrics.
Problem-Solving: Ability to assess challenges and find solutions quickly.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and use it to make informed decisions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (sometimes an MBA is preferred).
15 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in managerial or senior sales role.
Knowledge of the industry, products, and market conditions in the assigned region.
Location: Eastern and Western Region of the United States
Travel Requirements: Travel will be required.
