About This Position

Description:

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Health (HSE)

  • Develop and implement company-wide safety policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and client-specific safety standards.
  • Oversee job hazard assessments and site-specific risk mitigation plans.
  • Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and field training.
  • Track leading and lagging safety indicators and report to leadership.

Quality Management

  • Establish and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to quality specifications.
  • Lead inspections, audits, and non-conformance reporting.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.

Environmental Compliance

  • Oversee compliance with SWPPP, waste disposal regulations, and recycling documentation.
  • Develop and track sustainability initiatives for turbine blade and component recycling.
  • Ensure proper handling and reporting of hazardous materials.
  • Lead greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction tracking and reporting programs.

Training & Development

  • Develop and deliver safety, quality, and environmental training programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee certification and compliance records.
  • Support compliance with IRA apprenticeship requirements by tracking and reporting training metrics.

Leadership & Culture

  • Act as a coach and mentor to site leadership and crews to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Serve as a liaison between field teams, leadership, and regulatory agencies.
  • Promote Destructable’s core values in all QHSE initiatives.
Requirements:

Experience:

  • QHSE: 5 years (Preferred)
  • ISO 9001, 14001: 3 years (Preferred)
  • OSHA: 5 years (Preferred)
