Registered Nurse (RN) PAT Position Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and conducting nursing assessments and evaluations as needed, ensuring patients meet the center's criteria. This role ensures patients are medically optimized, informed, and appropriately prepared having all required documents for their upcoming procedures. The RN is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. Acts as a patient advocate. The RN collaborates with the anesthesia team and providers on behalf of the patient. The RN will be cross trained and utilized in various areas within the center based on staffing needs.

Registered Nurse (RN) PAT Position Requirements

• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• One to three years experience in a clinical setting

Registered Nurse (RN) PAT Work Schedule

• May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy.
• Scheduled off at least three holidays per year.
• Required to work weekends per unit need.
• Expected to work overtime on occasion.
