RN- Palliative CarePosition Summary
The Palliative Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, holistic, and specialized nursing care to patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses. The RN works as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance patients' quality of life by managing symptoms, coordinating care, providing education and providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families. This role involves working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care and a seamless transition between care environments.
RN- Palliative Care Position Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of permanent residency.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
- Certification in Palliative Care Nursing (CHPN) is preferred.
RN- Palliative Care Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- .Experience in Palliative care, hospice, oncology, or critical care is preferred
RN- Palliative Care Schedule
- Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday
- Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
RN- Palliative Care Benefits
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
