Server in Fort Myers, Florida at Lexington Country Club

Lexington Country Club is looking for part time servers to provide food and beverage service to members and their guests in a manner that ensures a positive experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing immediate attention to all members and their guests upon seating.
• Setting up side station and performing assigned side work.
• Taking member drink and dinner order, answering questions regarding menu and making suggestions.
• Turning orders into kitchen; telling cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Checking back to ensure member satisfaction, replenishing water and butter as necessary.
• Removing soiled dishes.
• Suggesting and serving dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
• Presenting the bill and handling member charges according to procedures.
• Keeping tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy.
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
• Attending pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Manager.

To thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Minium one-year high end dining experience.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact well with members.
• Ability to lift and carry food and dish trays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive and professional attitude.
