Ultrasound Technologist - Trainee in Odessa, Texas at Medical Center Hospital

Position Summary:

Performs ultrasound scans under direction of registered sonographer for inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients utilizing high frequency sound waves. Ensures that quality patient care is provided.

Qualifications:

Education: Must be a graduate of or attending a certified school of sonography and in preparation to sit for RDMS licensure.

B. Job Knowledge:

This position requires initiative and ability to learn, excellent customer service skills and teamwork.

Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

A. Occasionally required to lift and position patients for procedures.

B. Possible hazardous exposure to infectious diseases or radiation exposure.
