PERMIT COORDINATOR - ACREE PLUMBING & AIR - TAMPA BRANCH LOCATION
This is a Full Time, Hourly position, working On-Site at our Tampa Branch.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 / Hour Based on Experience

What You'll Do:
The Permit Coordinator is responsible for managing the process of obtaining permits. They work with building departments and other professionals to ensure that all projects adhere to local building codes and regulations.
- Research and prepare permit applications for submission to the appropriate regulatory agency.
- Track and monitor the status of permit applications through the approval process
- Prepare reports on permit activity; Track permit activity
- Coordinate with other departments within the organization to ensure compliance with permit requirements.
- Keep abreast of changes in permit regulations and advise management of potential impacts
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to permitting
- Serve as a liaison between the organization, customers, and regulatory agencies during the inspection process
- Responsible for resolving issues that arise during the permit process
- Maintain accurate records of permit
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, professional, and solutions-oriented approach to customer service
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- The ability to solve problems, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Basic understanding of financial transactions, invoicing, or accounting processes
- The ability to build strong working relationships with customers, technicians, managers, and cross-functional teams
- A self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services industry
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar service management software
- Associate's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods in a professional office environment
- Ability to travel occasionally to branch locations for training, meetings, or administrative support
