Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Intern at CRG, you will gain direct exposure to the financial operations of a complex organization. Working closely with the VP of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
• Support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budget development, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
• Conduct research and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making
• Help maintain and reconcile financial records in accordance with organizational policies
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries as needed
• Participate in audit preparation and internal controls documentation
• Analyze financial data and present findings through dashboards, summaries, and briefings
• Support contract review processes and track financial deliverables across projects
• Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as directed by the
Qualifications Required
• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Finance,
Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong academic record
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and
discretion
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
• Prior internship or work experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Familiarity with financial software platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Interest or background in government, defense, emergency management, or public sector finance
• Knowledge of federal contracting, grant management, or government accounting standards (a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic financial modeling)
Hourly Rate: $20.00
