Shipping & Receiving in Stanley, North Carolina at Metal Roofing Systems

Shipping & Receiving is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and completing shipping and receiving documentation. This role involves operating warehouse equipment such as a sit-down forklift, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently, and upholding inventory control and loss prevention standards. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while collaborating effectively with team members.

RESPONSIBILTIES

Pulling material ordersAssisting with customer pickupsLoading/unloading trucksAssisting with keeping the warehouse neat and organizedRestocking shelvesAssisting with inventory managementOperating a sit-down forkliftAny other responsibilities deemed necessary

REQUIREMENTS

MUST be a team player1 year warehouse/forklift experience requiredMust pass a background check and drug testAbility to work long hours (7am-5:30pm or later when needed and some weekends when necessary)Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedlyDisciplined, dependable, and resourcefulCustomer service skills and ability to represent the company in an appropriate manner
