CDL Truck Driver (Aggregate Hauling / Heavy Civil Support)
Location: Various Project Sites (OK, TX, and travel as required)
Reports To: Fleet Manager (daily coordination with Superintendent / Foreman)
Position Summary
Blue Sage Services is seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to support our heavy civil construction operations by safely and efficiently hauling materials such as rock, dirt, aggregate, and construction debris. This role is critical to keeping projects on schedule by ensuring timely material delivery, maintaining equipment, and operating with a safety-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL-class vehicles (dump trucks, water trucks, tractor trailers, lowboys, etc.) in support of construction operations
- Haul materials including rock, sand, dirt, asphalt, and debris to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document findings daily
- Maintain accurate haul logs, tickets, and required documentation
- Coordinate daily with the Fleet Manager for dispatch, routing, and equipment assignments
- Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to meet jobsite material demands and schedules
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and jobsite safety requirements
- Assist with general labor tasks on-site when trucking needs are met
- Identify and report maintenance or safety issues immediately to the Fleet Manager
- Maintain clean and organized equipment, both inside and out
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record with the ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 2+ years of experience operating CDL vehicles in construction or similar environments
- Experience hauling aggregate, dirt, or heavy construction materials preferred
- Ability to operate in varying terrain and jobsite conditions (mud, uneven ground, tight access areas)
- Strong understanding of load securement and weight compliance
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required by project demands
Certifications (Preferred but not required)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- HAZMAT or tanker endorsement (for water truck or specialty hauling)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs multiple times per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness and focus
