About This Position

TITLE: Marketing
REPORTS TO: CEO

RANGE: $17.00 - $20.50
STATUS: Part-Time; up to 25 hours per week

JOB SUMMARY:

Working closely with the CEO, the Marketing Specialiast/ Admin Assistant will be tasked with managing and completing various cross functional tasks within the organization. They will keep team members up-to-date, create meeting agendas, schedule meetings, cultivate relationships across the organization and serve as the main conduit to the administrative team. Other tasks will include supporting organizational growth, supporting strong internal and external communications, monitoring special project completion and positively impacting organizational culture.

KEY ROLES:

Internal & External Communication

Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information, filing.

In collaboration with club staff, increase visibility of Club development through multiple media activities and maintain excellent public relations.

Develop strategic alliances with community leaders and local officials. Develop collaborative partnerships with other youth serving organizations, members, parents, families, funders and community organizations.

Support board committees providing key communication and record keeping.

Marketing & Resource Development

Develop and execute a marketing plan to enhance visibility and support the organization's objectives.

Create engaging content for a variety of channels, including social media, email newsletters, website, and printed materials.

Monitor and analyze marketing and campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.

Manage the organizations Meta suite

Develop strategies to engage current donors and attract new supporters through events and marketing initiatives.

Collaborate with the development team to integrate marketing strategies with fundraising efforts.

Assist in creation of marketing efforts.

Data Entry & Management

Maintains and keeps up to date, donor database, and donation processing.

Relationships

Internal: Close, daily contact with the CEO. Maintains oral and written contact with the CEO, Board of Directors, staff peers and volunteers for the purpose of exchange of information, to provide progress reports regarding activities and planned programs, and to coordinate special events and meetings.

External: Maintain oral and written contact with other agencies, business leaders, community groups, boards of directors of such organizations, and the media for the purpose of exchanging information and ideas and for the purpose of enhancing the organization's reputation.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Two years of work history in an office assistant position

Two years of experience Utilizing a CRM (salesforce or other equivalent software)

Communication skills – good written and oral communication skills and the ability to relate to supervisor and the public (donors, stakeholders, board members, etc)

Proven Design Experience utilizing Canva, Adobe Suite or other graphic design tools.

Decision making skills – good judgment, systemic thinking, problem solving, performance organization and time management. Identify common elements, themes and risks in situations and actions.

Organizational Skills- Demonstrate organizational and project management abilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT/QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Must hold valid driver’s license and proper automobile insurance.

Must be able to squat or bend to communicate at youths’ level.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds for short periods of time.

Must be able to participate in physical activities throughout the facility, on the property and/or on field trips.
