ABOUT OMI INDUSTRIES

OMI is the worldwide leader in odor elimination chemistry with industrial, consumer, and commercial applications. This role will work primarily with our consumer brand, Fresh Wave.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At OMI, we’re not looking for someone to “manage social” for Fresh Wave.

We’re looking for someone to build it into a growth engine.

Fresh Wave is a fast-growing consumer brand redefining odor elimination—without toxic chemicals. We’re expanding rapidly across retail, Amazon, and DTC, and social is a critical lever for where we’re going next.

This role is for someone who:

• Thinks in content, not calendars
• Understands what makes people stop scrolling
• Wants to create, test, and scale ideas that actually drive business

You’ll have real ownership, real autonomy, and a real opportunity to shape how a brand shows up in the world.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

• Build and scale our social presence across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
• Concept, shoot, and edit content (and/or direct creators) that people actually want to watch
• Turn everyday odor problems into highly relatable, shareable content
• Test constantly — hooks, formats, trends, messaging — and double down on what works
• Partner with influencers and creators to extend reach and drive performance
• Use performance data to inform creative decisions (not just report on it)
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership to align social with broader growth goals

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• You’re producing content that gets watched, shared, and saved
• You can point to posts and say: “That drove real business impact”
• You’re consistently testing new ideas—not just maintaining what exists
• Our social presence feels distinct, modern, and impossible to ignore

WHO YOU ARE

• You’ve created content that performed—for a brand, or your own account
• You understand what works on TikTok/IG right now (and how fast it changes)
• You’re hands-on — you don’t just brief content, you help make it happen
• You have strong instincts for hooks, storytelling, and pacing
• You move fast, iterate quickly, and don’t wait for perfection
• You’re comfortable owning something and being accountable for results

SALARY

$80,000 base salary

• OMI Industries manufactures odor eliminating solutions. Chemical exposure to raw materials including plant oils, fragrances, and other materials will occur.
• This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required Tuesday through Thursday.
• The role is primarily sedentary, involving long periods of sitting and working at a computer.
• Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Occasional lifting of items up to 10 lbs (e.g., laptops, marketing materials).
• The position is based in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
