OR Scrub Technician at Winslow Memorial Hospital Inc – Winslow, Arizona

The OR Tech, under the supervision of the OR Nurse Supervisor and Director of Nursing, is responsible for preparing supplies and equipment for surgical cases and interventions, using appropriate techniques. The OR Tech Assists with surgical procedures and performs patient procedures that are within the scope of their unit specific skills summation. Seeks assistance and support when necessary, assists in data collection, organizes those aspects of patient care for which they are responsible, and maintains accountability for own practice and those functions delegated to the Technician. The OR Technician will also prepare, tracks, and sterilizes equipment and instruments in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares operating room case carts, sterile trays and supplies for all areas of the hospital. Practices within accepted ethical and legal parameters. This is a PRN position.

Education: High School Diploma required Post High School vocation or specialized training preferred.

Experience: Recent experience as OR Tech preferred

Computer Skills: Microsoft Work, Excel, and Power Point preferred.

Licenses: N/A

Certifications: BLS required upon hire

OR Technician Certification
