Compensation: Starting at $33.44 /hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.

Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols.

Provide direct and indirect patient care services tailored to individual patient needs.

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout imaging procedures.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, leadership, and healthcare team members.

Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.

Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.

Demonstrate ARHS Mission, Vision, and Values through professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.

Support coworkers, patients, families, and visitors within scope of practice and licensure.

Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiologic sciences program.
-
Applicable registry credential required; R-CT preferred.
-
Clinical radiographic and imaging experience from an AMA-accredited health science program required.

One (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred.

Ability to successfully complete the CT Technologist Level II orientation program.
-
CT registry required within two (2) years of achieving Level II competency.

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required at time of hire.

Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians using positive verbal and non-verbal skills.

Competence in delivering safe and effective patient care within the legal limits of licensure, certifications, and hospital policies.
-
Knowledge of the continuum of care provided within the patient care department.

Strong customer service skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Continuous standing and walking for 8+ hours per shift.
-
Speaking, reading, and writing for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
-
Exposure to vibration and cramped spaces for more than 1 hour per day.
-
Frequent patient mobilization exceeding 4 hours per day.
-
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 50 pounds or more.
-
Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, and reaching.
-
Frequent fine motor use involving hands, fingers, and wrists with moderate dexterity.
-
Frequent close eye work and exposure to soft voices at distances greater than 3 feet.
-
Frequent exposure to ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, including X-ray and microwave.

Regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
-
Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and power equipment hazards.
-
Exposure to unpleasant elements such as accidents, injuries, slippery surfaces, and uneven terrain.

Must be able to respond to emergency or crisis situations.

Subject to irregular hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
-
On-call coverage required.
