** SIGNAL INTEGRITY (SI) APPLICATIONS ENGINEER **
Summary/Objective: The Senior SI Applications Engineer will own platformlevel customer enablement strategy and standards. Approve highimpact customer deliverables and methods; influence toolchain roadmaps, KPIs, and data governance; drive crossBU enablement and bestpractice adoption with SI/PI/ME partners.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Perform component and system simulations; translate results into clear customerfacing insights.
- Build and maintain customer simulation kits and supporting files; ensure versioning/traceability in appropriate/approved systems.
- Create demo/channel concatenation reports, including assumptions, stitch rules, and performance expectations.
- Author or contribute to application notes/white papers and training materials.
- Prepare BOR packages and collaborate with layout/SI teams to support launches and correlation.
- Own platform standards and governance for analysis/correlation; approve highimpact deliverables.
- Define KPIs/dashboards and coach teams to improve quality, cycle time, and reuse.
- Mentor staff/senior engineers; drive crossBU enablement and multisite alignment.
The responsibilities as defined are intended to serve as a general guideline for this position. Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks depending on strengths and capabilities
Required Experience:
- 15 years of relevant SI applications experience.
- Deep understanding/approves analysis/correlation standards and governance across sites.
- Defines KPIs/dashboards for analysis quality, cycle time, and reuse; influences investment plans.
- Leads platform collateral strategy (reference channels, playbooks, training curricula).
- Partners with standards bodies and participates in customer/industry forums as appropriate.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related subject is required.
- Masters Degree is preferred.
