Position: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, have excellent service orientation and communication skills, and pay strong attention to detail. The legal assistant will assist attorneys and senior paralegals with a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in the legal field while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organizing and preparing case files, exhibits, and evidence for hearings.
• Managing deadlines and drafting pleadings.
• File and upload pleadings and exhibits both with court and the client.
• Communicating with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively.

Education & Experience:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• Paralegal certification is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates with relevant internships or coursework will be considered.
