About This Position
Architectural Fabrication (Arch-Fab) is a leading manufacturer of aluminum shade and architectural products for the commercial construction industry. Our purpose is simple: to create a place where people can thrive. This starts with our own team. We foster a highly collaborative environment built on values that identify ideal team players.
The Opportunity
We are strategically growing our Business Development team and have created this new Coordinator role to be the engine of our sales process. This is an entry-level position with a clear and defined career path. You will start by managing a large portfolio of accounts, handling the crucial pre-qualification and bidding process for a high volume of projects.
Your mission is to master our proven process, build fantastic customer relationships, and cultivate your portfolio to identify high-potential clients. Success in this role will lead to a promotion to a Business Development Manager, where you will manage your own strategic territory. This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to launch their career in the commercial construction industry.
Qualify Opportunities: Review inbound Invitations to Bid (ITBs), analyze architectural plan sets, and evaluate projects to ensure they are a perfect fit for Arch-Fab.
Manage Workflows: Direct and coordinate with our offshore support team to ensure project data is accurately entered into Salesforce and product "takeoffs" are completed in Bluebeam.
Drive the Bidding Process: Serve as the central point of contact for our Estimating team, ensuring they have everything they need to submit accurate and timely proposals.
Communicate with Customers: Generate and submit proposals, then manage a structured follow-up process via email and phone to answer questions, conduct scope reviews, and coordinate project details.
Maintain Data Integrity: Keep meticulous and accurate records of all activities, projects, and customer interactions in our CRM (Salesforce).
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Business Development Managers, Estimators, and the Design team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Exceptional Organization & Time Management: You have the ability to manage a high volume of projects and competing deadlines without letting details slip.
A Process-Driven Mindset: You understand the value of a proven system and are committed to following a structured process to achieve success.
Strong Communication Skills: You are a clear, professional communicator in writing and, just as importantly, are comfortable and willing to pick up the phone to build relationships.
A Motivated, "Can-Do" Attitude: You are coachable, eager to learn, and driven to contribute to the team's success.
The Ability to Work Independently & Collaboratively: You can be trusted to manage your own workload while also knowing when to engage with the team to solve problems.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
1-2 years of experience in a role like a project coordinator, project engineer, or sales support is a strong plus.
The aptitude or ability to learn how to read architectural plans is highly preferred.
Experience with Salesforce or Bluebeam is a bonus, but we have excellent training for the right candidate.
A Real Career Path: We are investing in you for the long term. We provide the training and a clear roadmap for you to grow from a Coordinator to a Manager.
A Thriving Culture: Join a team that genuinely lives its core values and is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive work environment.
Stability and Growth: You'll be part of a well-established and growing company that is a leader in its industry.
Work-Life Balance: This role is based in our Fort Worth office with the potential for a hybrid schedule and requires no planned travel.
