NNP Resource Pool at tgmctest – Houma, Louisiana

The NNP is responsible to the Director of Women''s Services and supervising the neonatology section in accordance with the collaborative practice agreement and NNP scope of practice. The NNP, under the direction of the Neonatology medical staff, will provide primary medical management in the NICU for infants under the care of the neonatology section, including assessment and management of patients, education, research and implementation of clinical standards and practices. THe NNP assures that standards for professional advanced nursing pratitioner in the clinical setting are maintained.

Education/Requirements * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. * Current license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner in state of LA by the LA Board of Nursing. * Master''s degree in nursing preferred. * Five years professional experience in a clinical setting preferred. This position is a PRN position and will be utilized "as needed"
