Job Description

Senior Pricing Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst in the United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced federal pricing professional to lead the development of cost and pricing strategies across complex government proposals. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping competitive pricing models, building compliant cost volumes, and supporting winning bid strategies across multiple contract types and federal agencies. You will collaborate closely with capture, contracts, finance, and technical teams to translate solution approaches into defensible pricing structures aligned with FAR, DFARS, and related regulations. The position offers full remote flexibility, significant ownership of end-to-end pricing activities, and exposure to high-value federal pursuits. Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-driven, and experienced in managing fast-paced proposal environments where accuracy, compliance, and strategy directly influence business outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development of end-to-end cost volumes, pricing models, and price-to-win strategies for competitive federal proposals across multiple contract types, including IDIQ, FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus, and GSA schedules.
  • Design and maintain labor category structures, staffing models, wrap rates, and pricing frameworks aligned with corporate indirect rate structures and compliance requirements.
  • Translate technical and management approaches into clear, defensible basis of estimates (BOEs) and pricing narratives that support proposal scoring and evaluation.
  • Review solicitations to identify pricing requirements, compliance obligations, representations and certifications, and financial considerations prior to bid execution.
  • Lead pricing kickoff sessions, internal reviews, and governance gates to ensure timely, compliant, and competitive proposal submissions.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with capture, business development, contracts, finance, HR, and technical teams to gather, validate, and integrate cost inputs.
  • Own and manage the subcontractor and teaming partner pricing intake process, including issuance of pricing templates, compliance review, reconciliation of labor categories and rates, and integration into final cost models.
  • Support subcontract negotiations and evaluate partner pricing submissions for completeness, compliance, and competitiveness under tight deadlines.
  • Respond to prime contractor pricing data calls when acting as a subcontractor, including rate justification, template alignment, and coordination of internal approvals.
  • Conduct financial analysis, cost realism assessments, and pricing risk evaluations to support strategic decision-making and proposal competitiveness.
  • Assist with audits, fact-finding sessions, and regulatory reviews including DCAA, DCMA, CPSR, and TINA-related requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing tools, templates, methodologies, and internal knowledge libraries to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in federal government pricing, including extensive experience developing cost/price volumes for competitive proposals.
  • Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) requirements.
  • Proven experience working with multiple contract types, including IDIQ, FFP, Cost-Plus, T&M, and GSA Schedule vehicles.
  • Strong background in pricing strategy development, including price-to-win analysis, competitive positioning, and cost modeling.
  • Experience developing BOEs in collaboration with technical and solution architecture teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, dynamic models, and large dataset analysis.
  • Experience supporting audits, DCMA/DCAA reviews, and federal fact-finding or compliance sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractor pricing workflows, including negotiation of rates, labor mapping, and compliance validation.
  • Experience responding to prime contractor data calls and coordinating internal pricing approvals under strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in fast-paced proposal environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present pricing strategies and financial insights.
  • U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience with federal agencies (DoD, DHS, or civilian) and tools such as Unanet, Salesforce, or pricing analytics platforms is a plus.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of $120,000–$150,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Fully remote work arrangement with alignment to U.S. business hours.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Paid time off, federal holidays, and additional leave benefits.
  • 100% employer-paid short-term disability and life insurance.
  • Professional development support including fully funded certifications and training programs.
  • Access to internal learning platforms and career development resources.
  • Wellness and fitness programs designed to support employee well-being.
  • Flexible spending accounts for medical, dependent care, transit, and parking expenses.
  • Collaborative, high-trust remote environment with strong emphasis on compliance, excellence, and teamwork.
