Love helping kids connect, play, and build new skills? At MAPS, you’ll work with children ages 2–18 in a supportive, clinic-based team. You’ll help each child practice social and behavioral skills through individualized programs designed for each client.

What you’ll do

  • Work directly with children to practice communication, social, and daily-life skills.

  • Follow individualized programs and behavior support plans.

  • Record progress and share observations with your team.

  • Collaborate with a Behavior Consultant, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and families.

Most programs take place at our El Dorado Hills clinic. Some appointments may be outside the clinic.

Pay and benefits

  • $22–$30 per hour, based on education and experience

  • Full-time or part-time opportunities

  • Paid holidays and 401(k) matching for all employees

  • Paid time off and paid sick leave for all employees

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week

  • Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement for appointments outside the clinic

  • Support through the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification process, if needed

What you’ll need

  • A high school diploma or GED

  • Patience, dependability, and a genuine interest in working with children

  • The ability to communicate clearly, protect confidential information, and work as part of a team

  • Reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and proof of insurance

  • The ability to pass a Department of Justice fingerprint screening and provide required TB test and immunization documentation

  • The ability to perform active work that may include running, standing, kneeling, crawling, reaching, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Experience in ABA, education, childcare, or working with children with disabilities is welcome. Relevant college coursework, a degree, and RBT certification are preferred but not required.

At MAPS, we combine play, inclusion, and individualized support to help children build skills and friendships. Apply today to join our team.
