Licensed Sales Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Licensed Sales Manager based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing insurance sales team within a fast-growing, remote-first environment.
You will play a key role in driving sales performance, coaching frontline professionals, and improving customer outcomes.
The position combines strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on team development.
You will collaborate across departments to enhance processes, tools, and customer experiences.
With ownership over team success and operational improvements, you will help shape the future of a modern insurance organization.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced sales leader who thrives in a dynamic, performance-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

The Licensed Sales Manager will oversee a team of sales professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and operational leadership to achieve business objectives. This role requires a balance of people management, sales expertise, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
  • Coach, mentor, and empower a team of 12–14 sales agents in a fast-paced call-center environment.
  • Monitor team and individual performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Use reporting, analytics, and sales data to optimize performance and drive informed decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer experiences.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training initiatives for new sales team members.
  • Create and implement sales programs, initiatives, and process improvements to increase productivity and effectiveness.
  • Promote a customer-focused culture while ensuring teams consistently deliver high-quality service.
  • Manage daily operations while adapting to evolving business priorities and market needs.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a strong background in insurance, team management, and performance-driven environments. They should combine industry knowledge with strong coaching, analytical, and communication skills.

  • 5+ years of sales experience, including 2+ years managing sales representatives or agents.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines (PL) insurance license.
  • Proven success achieving and exceeding sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of the full insurance sales lifecycle, with the ability to train teams and improve sales processes.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, reporting tools, and data insights to guide business decisions.
  • Ability to coach diverse teams, identify development opportunities, and motivate employees toward shared goals.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with a proactive and positive mindset.
  • Ability to work assigned Monday–Friday shifts and participate in a rotating Saturday schedule every 4–6 weeks.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation with an on-target earnings range of $110,000–$120,000, including a base salary of $80,000–$85, plus sales incentives.
  • Equity opportunities through Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
  • 401(k) plan with company match up to 4% of eligible earnings.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple plan options.
  • Company-funded HSA contributions based on selected medical plans.
  • Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage.
  • Supplemental benefits including long-term disability, critical illness, accident, legal, and pet insurance.
  • Mental health resources and confidential counseling support.
  • Flexible paid time off and company-observed holidays.
  • Paid parental leave, including up to 14 weeks for birthing parents and 8 weeks for non-birthing parents.
  • Career growth opportunities and internal mobility programs.
  • Professional development support for certifications, conferences, and learning opportunities.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility and ownership.
