The Staff Product Manager, Ads will own the vision, strategy, and execution of advertising product initiatives, helping build differentiated solutions that connect marketing investments with measurable business results. This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate complex market and technical challenges into impactful products. Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the long-term product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for advertising capabilities aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Lead product strategy for paid media experiences, helping businesses create, manage, optimize, and measure advertising campaigns effectively.
- Partner with engineering, design, data, AI teams, and business stakeholders to build scalable product solutions and deliver customer value.
- Drive initiatives involving intelligent campaign creation, audience optimization, automated recommendations, and AI-powered advertising experiences.
- Navigate complex advertising ecosystems, including platform APIs, privacy regulations, attribution models, and evolving measurement frameworks.
- Develop platform strategies that differentiate integrated advertising and CRM capabilities from standalone solutions.
- Establish success metrics, analyze product performance, and use data-driven insights to guide prioritization and strategic decisions.
- Influence product direction beyond the immediate team by contributing to broader organizational strategy and platform initiatives.
- Guide new product concepts from discovery through launch, ensuring strong execution and measurable customer impact.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to align priorities, resolve tradeoffs, and deliver cohesive product experiences.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have extensive product management experience with a strong understanding of advertising technology, digital marketing ecosystems, and scalable software products. They should be comfortable leading complex initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and operating in fast-changing environments. Required qualifications include:
- Significant experience building and scaling customer-facing software products, ideally within advertising technology, paid media, marketing platforms, or performance marketing solutions.
- Proven experience defining and executing product strategies at a senior level, connecting short-term delivery with long-term vision.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising concepts, including campaign management, audience targeting, attribution, measurement, and first-party data.
- Experience working with technical teams to develop platform capabilities, APIs, integrations, and data-driven products.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using metrics, experimentation, and customer insights to guide product decisions.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, technically complex, and highly regulated environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Ability to clearly communicate product strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs to executives, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
- Experience working within complex product ecosystems requiring coordination across multiple teams and platforms.
- Preferred experience with advertising APIs such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or TikTok Ads.
- Preferred background in CRM, martech, B2B SaaS, fintech, privacy-focused advertising, AI-powered products, or SMB-focused solutions.
- Ability to work effectively within East Coast or Central Time Zones is preferred.
