Practice Highlights
Predominantly daytime schedule (8:00 AM5:00/6:00 PM)
Swing shift (Noon8:00 PM) approximately once every 3 weeks
Evening shift (5:00 PM11:00 PM) approximately once every 3 weeks
Weekend coverage only 3 weekends per year
Overnight coverage fully supported by teleradiology
Balanced mix of Neuro-Radiology and General Diagnostic Radiology
Coverage includes a Level I Trauma Center and thrombectomy-capable Stroke Center

Academic & Teaching Opportunities
This position includes light teaching responsibilities involving medical students and non-radiology residents within a collaborative academic environment. Faculty appointment through the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine will be provided at a rank commensurate with prior academic experience and scholarly activity. Opportunities are also available to participate in research, mentorship, and quality improvement initiatives based on individual interests.
