Matter Health is seeking a Market Operations Director to support and scale operations across multiple Tennessee markets. This field-based leadership role partners closely with clinical, operational, and corporate teams to drive operational consistency, workforce support, patient experience, and market performance. We are looking for a strong operator who thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys building scalable processes, and is passionate about improving healthcare access for underserved communities.
This field-based leadership role supports operations across multiple Tennessee markets, including Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Candidates located throughout Tennessee are encouraged to apply, and regular travel across Tennessee markets is expected.
What You'll Do
• Lead day-to-day market operations across assigned Tennessee regions
• Partner closely with clinical and operational leadership to support patient care delivery and growth initiatives
• Drive operational consistency, accountability, and process improvement across markets
• Support workforce planning, staffing coordination, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives
• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiting, HR, clinical leadership, and executive teams
• Help scale systems and operational workflows as Matter Health continues to grow
• Foster a positive, mission-driven culture focused on service, accountability, and community impact
Qualifications
• 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, multi-site operations, or field-based management
• Experience supporting or leading teams across multiple locations or markets
• Strong organizational, operational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Passion for improving healthcare access and serving underserved communities
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strongly Preferred
• Experience in value-based care, population health, primary care, home health, or community-based healthcare
• Startup or scaling healthcare organization experience
• Experience building or improving operational processes and workflows
• Familiarity with healthcare staffing, onboarding, or workforce operations
