This role is a highly technical cybersecurity position focused on advanced endpoint security analytics, threat hunting, and enterprise risk interpretation within complex federal environments. You will leverage the Tanium platform to gain deep visibility into endpoint activity, identify vulnerabilities, and uncover indicators of compromise across large-scale systems. Operating in a mission-critical, security-sensitive context, you will translate technical findings into actionable insights that strengthen organizational cyber defense and compliance posture. The role combines hands-on platform expertise with strategic analysis, supporting both operational teams and executive leadership. You will also play a key role in interpreting threat intelligence, improving detection logic, and enhancing overall security monitoring capabilities. This position is ideal for a seasoned cybersecurity professional who thrives in data-driven environments and enjoys solving complex, high-impact security challenges.

Accountabilities
  • Lead endpoint data analysis using Tanium modules (Asset, Discover, Inventory) to identify vulnerabilities, unauthorized assets, and visibility gaps.
  • Perform vulnerability and compliance assessments using Comply and Patch modules, prioritizing risks based on exploitability and mission impact.
  • Conduct threat hunting and behavioral analysis using Threat Response and Impact modules to identify indicators of compromise and malicious activity.
  • Analyze intelligence feeds and manage lifecycle updates of indicators of compromise (IoCs) within the Tanium ecosystem.
  • Translate cybersecurity directives and threat intelligence into technical queries and actionable monitoring strategies.
  • Monitor ACEM outputs to maintain real-time awareness of enterprise security posture and emerging risks.
  • Develop cybersecurity reporting artifacts including RMF documentation, SSPs, POA&Ms, and CONOPS materials.
  • Design executive dashboards and trend reporting to communicate risk posture and long-term security insights to leadership.
  • Continuously improve vulnerability management processes, SOPs, and detection workflows in alignment with DoD standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on planning, scheduling, and operational execution of cybersecurity activities.
Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (Tier 5 SSBI required).
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, CISA, CCSP, GCIH, or equivalent).
  • 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on information security.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tanium modules (Asset, Discover, Comply, Patch, Threat Response, Impact, Trend, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in endpoint security, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence analysis.
  • Experience interpreting cybersecurity frameworks, DoD directives, and risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and team coordination skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in secure, regulated, and mission-critical environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary with bi-monthly pay schedule.
  • 100% employer-paid medical premiums with best-in-class healthcare coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with 100% company match on the first 4%.
  • 3 weeks of PTO plus 11 paid holidays annually.
  • Monthly reimbursement for cell phone and home internet expenses.
  • Paid parental leave (maternity and paternity).
  • Strong investment in certifications, training, and professional development.
  • Performance-based incentives and contributions recognition programs.
