Job Summary
The Warehouse Maintenance Technician III is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing inventory, materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position ensures accurate inventory control, prepares and processes shipments, maintains orderly storage areas, and supports operational readiness through adherence to established procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. Operates material handling equipment, assists with inventory management, and collaborates with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of work orders and operational needs. This role also contributes to maintaining a safe work environment, participates in continuous improvement initiatives, and provides support in training new employees while performing additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Prepares parcels for shipping.
- Reads and examines site work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, stored, or distributed.
- Identifies missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notifies the Warehouse Manager.
- Reads, follows, and submits change requests for Job Breakdowns, SOP’s, and other work instructions.
- Ensure that all inventory is safe and secured on shelves.
- Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Provides a safe environment for the team.
- Issues or distributes materials, products, parts, and supplies based on information from incoming requisitions.
- Receives and counts stock items and records data manually or using the computer.
- Participates in safety, quality or other team participants as needed.
- Operates Material Handling Equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assists with training of newly employed workers.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience, Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Required
- Must possess a valid California driver license.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Intermediate computer experience with Microsoft office.
- Some warehouse experience working within the solar and wind industry.
- High attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and physical labor and endurance.
Preferred
- Computer experience is required. Experience working with various types of requisitions inventory systems is preferred.
- Experience working on Mainsaver preferred
- At least 1 or more years of warehouse experience working with Solar or Wind.
- Familiarity with materials for solar or wind turbine parts (panels, tile hooks, tilt scales, strut applications, Hydraulic parts, electrical and mechanical parts. etc.) preferred.
- Some college or trade school preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Certified forklift driver preferred.
- First Aid, CPR and AED Training.

Driving Required: Ability to drive vehicles on Company business and meet Company’s established Driving Criteria, including maintaining a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Special Shift Needed: some weekends when needed, some overtime when needed, no working from home

The posted compensation is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This salary range may also be modified in the future, depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
