What You'll Do

  • Conduct school-based OT evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop individualized, functional IEP goals
  • Provide individual and small-group occupational therapy
  • Support fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation needs
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
  • Consult with teachers and paraprofessionals on accommodations and strategies
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary school teams
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and progress notes

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
  • NBCOT certification (OTR) in good standing
  • Active state OT license, or documented initiation of licensure transfer
  • Knowledge of IDEA, the IEP process, and the educational model of occupational therapy

School-based experience, sensory integration training, and experience with AAC or assistive technology are preferred.
