Job Description
The Industrial Relations Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting front-line supervisors and managers in managing day-to-day industrial relations matters. This position serves as a key liaison between management and union representatives, ensuring constructive engagement and resolution of workforce issues. The Industrial Relations Business Partner contributes to maintaining a stable labor environment by investigating grievances, interpreting contractual provisions, and supporting the Industrial Relations Manager in delivering strategic Industrial Relations initiatives.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Advanced degrees and/or professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CCP, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is highly preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, or other industrial environment is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, grievance administration, and employee relations practices is a plus.

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- You must be able to be onsite at PEMEX Deer Park a minimum of three days per week.
- Must be able to drive and/or travel by bus and/or shuttle to various locations within the refinery.
- Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds at times.
