We're seeking an Intake CQI Coordinator to support the intake and continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes for individuals entering Restoration of Competency (ROC) programs. In this role, you'll coordinate intake activities, monitor quality and timeliness of care, analyze performance data, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure individuals receive appropriate services while supporting ongoing program excellence.

If you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and driven by process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the intake process for individuals newly deemed Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST), ensuring timely placement into appropriate Restoration of Competency treatment programs.
  • Receive and manage intake referrals from the Patient Management Unit (PMU) while coordinating care with assigned treatment facilities.
  • Communicate with facility leadership and clinical teams regarding psychiatric, nursing, and mental health treatment responsibilities.
  • Track and document communications related to patient intake and care coordination throughout the admission process.
  • Monitor the timeliness and quality of treatment services through electronic health record reporting, chart audits, and quality performance indicators.
  • Assist with coordinating and tracking peer review activities across Restoration of Competency programs.
  • Communicate with program leadership regarding peer review schedules, due dates, and quality improvement activities.
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve intake processes, care coordination, and service delivery.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives by assisting with audits, reporting, process improvements, and staff education.
  • Travel to assigned facilities, as needed, to provide quality improvement, support and training.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Experience

  • Three (3) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting (preferred)

Why Join Us

As an Intake CQI Coordinator, you'll play an important role in ensuring individuals receive timely access to Restoration of Competency services while helping improve the quality and effectiveness of behavioral healthcare programs. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, analyze meaningful performance data, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen patient care, operational efficiency, and continuous quality improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining clinical knowledge, analytics, and process improvement to make a measurable impact.
